Tend it gently, and it lasts forever.

Every Undine piece is made by hand from sterling silver, 14k gold-fill, freshwater and Tahitian pearls, natural gemstones, and shells I've dove for. Treated kindly, they'll outlive us both.

Daily wear

• Put jewelry on last — after perfume, sunscreen, and lotion.
• Take it off before showering, swimming, or sleeping. Chlorine and salt water are the two things that age metal fastest.
• Wipe each piece with a soft cotton cloth after wearing.

Storage

• Store pieces separately — a soft pouch, a flat tray, the pouch it arrived in. Anti-tarnish strips help.
• Pearls like humidity and touch. Wear them, don't hide them.

Adjustments

If a clasp breaks, a stone loosens, a pearl needs re-knotting, a hoop needs reshaping — send it back. I fix it by hand and return it.
